Why You Should Never Ignore a Leaky Faucet
Plumbing issues are a part of every homeowner's experience, but not every problem needs a costly professional fix. From clogged drains to running toilets, many common plumbing problems can be handled with a few tools and basic know-how
Dripping Faucets
Often caused by worn washers or cartridges. Turn off water, disassemble, and swap the faulty part.
Clogged Sinks and Drains
Hair, grease, and soap lead to blockages. Plunge, snake, or use a baking soda-vinegar solution to clear them.
Toilet Running Continuously
Check the flapper and handle chain inside the tank. Replace any damaged components to stop running.
Weak Water Flow
Inspect aerators and showerheads for mineral deposits. Clean with vinegar or replace to restore flow.
Pipe Leaks
Temporary fixes include epoxy or clamps, but long-term solution is pipe replacement.
Water Heater Issues
No hot water? Inspect thermostat, pilot light, and consider flushing to remove sediment.
Jammed Disposal
Use reset button or manually free with an Allen wrench if necessary.
Bathtub Drains Slow
Hair traps and soap residue block flow. Remove stopper and clear debris using a drain stick.
Toilet Doesn’t Flush Properly
Adjust water level, flapper, or chain to restore flushing performance.
Bad Odors from Drains
Dry traps or cracked seals can emit odors. Pour water in unused drains and inspect toilet seals
